What Type of Life Insurance is Right for Me?
Without adequate life insurance, a death in the family can have serious financial consequences. Benefits from life insurance can be used in any way - to pay final expenses, unpaid medical costs, debt, etc. Many people find peace of mind in knowing that their loved ones will have financial help in the event they pass away. There are a variety of life insurance plans available in the market today. While each plan has its benefits, it can be difficult to know which might be the best choice for you. Here is a brief overview of a few of the different life insurance plans available through VFW Sponsored Insurance:
Senior Term Life (Guarantee Issue)
Senior Term Life insurance is a great option if you’ve been declined for health insurance in the past due to your medical history. You cannot be turned down for coverage, and coverage cannot be cancelled because of age or any change in health. Coverage limits are available up to $25,000, and this is an entry age rated plan which means your rates will be determined based on your age when you first purchase the coverage and will remain the same for as long as you are insured, up to age 100.
Simplified Issue Term Life
This type of life insurance is perfect for those that are in relatively good health. There are only a few medical questions to answer, and NO medical exam. The application process is quick and you will know if you are eligible for coverage almost immediately. Once you are accepted, 100% of the coverage amount is in full force from the very first day, and benefits never decrease. Coverage limits are available up to $100,000.
High Limit Term Life
The High Limit Term life plans give you access to higher limits of coverage. Limits ranging from $100,000 to $3,000,000 are available. High Limit Term Life plans require full medical underwriting, but offer more affordable rates and more affordable coverage limits for those who qualify.
