In the event of an injury or death from a covered accident the plan pays: |

Loss of two limbs, two eyes or two feet: |
$1.000 |
Loss of one hand, one eye or one foot: |
$500 |
Loss of thumb and index finger on same hand: |
$250 |
If a covered members' death results from an accident while traveling to or from VFW sponsored events in a commercial vehicle an additional $1,500 will be payable for a maximum benefit of $2,500. All benefits reduce by 50% at age 70, and by 50% again at age 75. Additional Accidental Death & Dismemberment coverage can be purchased up to $100,000.
